Frequently Asked Questions
Are there limits on how many foreigners I can hire?
What happens if my business situation changes?
If your business situation changes, some updates may need to be submitted to MOM. Where applicable, we can assist with the necessary work pass-related processes and documentation on your behalf, subject to proper authorisation.
What records do I need to keep?
Employers must maintain employment records for employees covered by the Employment Act. MOM says these records include employee records and salary records. The retention period is the last 2 years for current employees, and for ex-employees, the last 2 years of records must be kept for 1 year after they leave.
