Placement Fee
The placement fee covers recruitment-related expenses incurred before the helper starts work in Singapore. The exact amount varies depending on the helper’s profile and recruitment arrangement.
Placement Fee May Include
- Documentation and processing in the helper’s home country
- Accommodation and meals before departure
- Medical arrangements completed overseas
- Other documented personal loans or recruitment expenses
- Recruitment services provided to the helper
- Overseas employment agency charges
- Pre-employment training and orientation
- Local transportation before departure

Placement Fee Explained
Before Work Starts
You pay the placement fee upfront.
Helper Starts Work
The placement fee is gradually recovered from the helper’s salary each month.
Placement Cost Recovered
Once fully recovered, the helper receives her full salary.
